Candidate Admission Requirements

    • Documentation of bachelor’s degree (official transcript from university/college) from an accredited institution. Submit along with online application.
    • Current resume. Submit along with online application.   
    • Documentation of having taken PELSB approved/MTLE tests; preferred score of 500 or higher. Submit along with online application.
    • Self-assessment of dispositions. Click here to complete self-assessment
    • Two letters of recommendation from someone in a position to verify the candidate has the needed dispositions to be an educator. Submit along with online application.   
    • Personal statement of interest in teaching and qualifications. Click here to fill out personal essay and rubric
    • Current immunization records. Submit along with online application.
    • Background check per SWWC internal policy, needs to be completed or submitted if completed within last two years. Submit along with online application.
    • Evidence of student liability coverage. Submit along with online application. 
    • Voluntary data to be collected for program review. Click here to fill out Program Voluntary Self-Identification Form
