In February, Josh Sumption, Chief Technology and Information Officer of SWWC Service Cooperative, was named the Minnesota State E‑Rate Coordinator, taking on a pivotal role in supporting schools and libraries across the state as they navigate the federal E‑Rate program. In this position, Sumption will help educational institutions and public libraries maximize access to affordable, reliable broadband and networking services—critical infrastructure for teaching, learning, and community connectivity.

It took almost 10 years for the Southwest West Central Service Cooperative to build a permanent home in Marshall. But it was worth the wait, said SWWC Executive Director Cliff Carmody.
