Using Word Templates
-
Use templates to create letters, agendas and other documents.
- Always start with the Word Template when you create a new document.
- When a template is opened, a new document is created.
- Select "Save As" to name the file and save it as a Word document.
- Do not re-save it as a Word Template.
- If you copy/paste text into the document, paste it as plain text so it takes on the formatting of the template.
- Logos are placed in the headers/footers and appear light in color.
- When finished, always save the document as a PDF to ensure the logo displays correctly.
