Multilingual Learner Title III Consortium

The focus of Title III is to ensure that English learners (ELs) and immigrant students attain English proficiency and meet state academic standards. A Title III consortium is a collaborative agreement between two or more school districts or local education agencies (LEAs) to pool federal funding from Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) to serve English Learner (EL) students and ensure they achieve English language proficiency and meet state academic standards.
Title III Consortium Plan includes:- Services for ELs focused on English proficiency, English language development standards and academic achievement in content areas
- Professional development for teachers, administrators and staff to improve instruction for ELs
- Support to promote parent, family and community engagement
