Students absolutely love this conference!
Sparked a new sense of excitement. Ways to beat boredom without a screen!! They love hands on activities and this gave us new ideas to try. Great ideas for Christmas gifts for grandparents, too!
My daughter LOVES this conference each year and has learned so many skills from experienced artists that I cannot teach her myself. She is sad that she is in 8th grade this year and will age out of the opportunity but is taking many great things away.
Motivating

Encouraged them to try a variety of drawing live sketcher cartoons, letters, creative art.
My students got to experience Native American culture and dance of which many had not seen before.
They realized their beliefs are different from ours, but it was great to share those beliefs through dance.

My child came home wanting to draw, drum, and explore more art. Not only did it keep her interest, but it inspired her. Thank you again for your hard work!
My student always comes away with a new skill. Even when she has had some less than stellar sessions she can apply what she did learn and create things in new ways. Gives students a chance to explore mediums they may not have been exposed to before.
The conference is always incredible for the kids! They beg to go every year and are able to share with their classmates.

We use it as a jumping off point for multiple artworks that we complete as a class. We "show & tell " when we get back and then vote on 2-3 artworks that will inspire our own works.
