Event Details
Session 1 - August 19 (5 hours, in-person at SWWC)
By the end of this session, teams will:
- Complete Steps 1-3 of the CNA process
- Develop an action plan to gather necessary data
- Identify a schedule for team engagement to analyze prioritized data and review local context
CNA Focus Areas:
- Step 1: Establish a Team
- Step 2: Understand the Local Context
- Step 3: Data Review and Hypothesis Setting
Teams will leave with action steps and aligned COMPASS support to continue the work between sessions.
Session 2 - December 7 OR March 15 (5 hours, in-person at SWWC) - (Date will be determined based on team readiness)
By the end of this session, teams will:
- Understand how to use the evaluation tool for Step 4
- Learn root cause analysis to support effective solution development
- Preview implementation science, including the Hexagon Tool, to guide next steps
CNA Focus Areas:
- Step 4: Evaluate the System
- Step 5: Explore and Identify Root Causes
Teams will again leave with clear action steps and ongoing COMPASS support to continue the work.

Requests should be made by an individual with a disability who needs auxiliary aids, closed captioning, and services, or by someone acting on that individual’s behalf. Requests may be made either in writing or orally. Requests need to be made and received by Deecy at least two weeks in advance of the program, activity or service in question. SWWC will address all requests but may not be able to arrange for the provision of an appropriate auxiliary aid, closed captioning or service if notice is not received two weeks in advance of the program, activity, or service. SWWC requires a notice of three business days to cancel an accommodation request. If an individual fails to give notice of cancellation three business days prior to the event, SWWC reserves the right to bill the individual’s school district/agency for this expense.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received by 4:30pm on the date noted in your registration confirmation email to qualify for a full refund, after which all registrations are final, and no refunds will be issued. Substitution of attendees from the same district/organization will be allowed up to the day of the event. In the event a workshop is canceled by SWWC, a full refund will be given. SWWC will notify registered attendees that the refund will be occurring and will post on the account for the credit card utilized for payment. This cancellation policy, including specific cancellation details provided in event registration information, will be followed when determining if a refund will be issued for cancellations that are not the decision of SWWC.
