Join the Northern Lights revision team to explore the new third edition curriculum elements. We’ll review changes made to the student text, orient to scope and sequence tools in the Annotated Teachers Edition, and identify benchmark alignment and assessment in the provided Learning Activities. Connections to local history will be included, as well as pathways for support during curriculum implementation

Target Audience: Teachers using the Northern Lights curriculum

Registration Fee: $50

Registration includes resources for classroom application, coffee, refreshments, lunch and mileage subsidies for those travelling over 50 miles roundtrip

Requests should be made by an individual with a disability who needs auxiliary aids, closed captioning, and services, or by someone acting on that individual’s behalf. Requests may be made either in writing or orally. Requests need to be made and received by Deecy at least two weeks in advance of the program, activity or service in question. SWWC will address all requests but may not be able to arrange for the provision of an appropriate auxiliary aid, closed captioning or service if notice is not received two weeks in advance of the program, activity, or service. SWWC requires a notice of three business days to cancel an accommodation request. If an individual fails to give notice of cancellation three business days prior to the event, SWWC reserves the right to bill the individual’s school district/agency for this expense.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received by 4:30pm on the date noted in your registration confirmation email to qualify for a full refund, after which all registrations are final, and no refunds will be issued. Substitution of attendees from the same district/organization will be allowed up to the day of the event. In the event a workshop is canceled by SWWC, a full refund will be given. SWWC will notify registered attendees that the refund will be occurring and will post on the account for the credit card utilized for payment. This cancellation policy, including specific cancellation details provided in event registration information, will be followed when determining if a refund will be issued for cancellations that are not the decision of SWWC.
