Board Policy List
The purpose of this policy is to clarify the name of the Service Cooperative.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that equal educational opportunity is provided for all students placed by the resident district through a tuition agreement into SWWC programs. The resident district is defined as the school district where the parent resides.
The SWWC takes seriously all concerns or complaints by students, employees, parents or other persons. If a specific complaint procedure is provided within any other policy of the SWWC, the specific procedure shall be followed in reference to such a complaint. If a specific complaint procedure is not provided, the purpose of this policy is to provide a procedure that may be used. As a Behavioral Health Services employee or client receiving ABA services, if you have a complaint, it is recommended that you contact the appropriate supervisor in the line of authority.

The purpose of this policy is to set forth the provisions that must be followed when administering nonemergency prescription medication to students at school.
SWWC recognizes that it is serving students with complex health needs. SWWC also recognizes that SWWC staff may be confronted with requests to withhold emergency care of a student in the event of a life-threatening situation at school or school activities or be presented with Do Not Resuscitate/Do Not Intubate (DNR- DNI) orders. The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance to SWWC staff and parents or guardians in these situations.
There are occasions in which persons other than SWWC officials and employees find it necessary to speak with a student during the school day. Student safety and disruption of the educational program is of concern to the SWWC. The purpose of this policy is to establish the procedures for access to students by authorized individuals during the school day.
The purpose of this policy is to protect students with disabilities from discrimination on the basis of disability and to identify and evaluate learners who, within the intent of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, need services, accommodations, or programs in order that such learners may receive a free appropriate public education.
SWWC prohibits sexual harassment that occurs within its education programs and activities. Any student, parent, or guardian having questions regarding the application of Title IX and its regulations and/or this policy and grievance process should discuss them with the Title IX Coordinator.

The behavior of students and employees on the bus is a significant factor in the safety and efficiency of school bus transportation. Student and employee misbehavior increases the potential risks of injury. Therefore, the school district believes that video recording student passengers and employees on the school bus will encourage good behavior and, as a result, promote safety. The purpose of this policy is to establish a school bus video recording system.
Maintaining the health, welfare, and safety of students, staff, and visitors while on school district property—and protecting school district property—are important functions of the district. The behavior of individuals on school property affects order, discipline, and safety. The School Board recognizes the value of video and electronic surveillance systems in monitoring activity on school property to help protect students, staff, visitors, and property.
The purpose of this policy is to create new fund balance classifications that allow for more useful fund balance reporting and compliance with the reporting guidelines specified in Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement No. 54.
