Superintendents' Executive Council

The primary purpose of the Superintendents’ Executive Council is to provide advice and support to the SWWC Service Cooperative Administration and Board of Directors. The Council shall be made up of not more than twenty-one (21) representatives, comprised of 15 elected member school superintendents, one appointed MN River Valley SpEd member, one appointed MRVED member, two appointed higher education members, one appointed non-public school member and the past chair.

Special Education Advisory Committee

The SpEd Advisory Committee consists of three superintendents from the Superintendents’ Executive Council and eight members at-large from schools participating in the SWWC SpEd Cooperative. The purpose of the SpEd Advisory Committee is to provide advice to the Executive Director and/or designee on issues related to the administration of special education programs and services.

Wide Area Network Advisory Committee

The WAN Advisory Committee provides guidance and direction to SWWC's Wide Area Network Consortium operations, including oversight of contracts with service providers, the provision of consortium services and guidance for future programs, and services to be provided to consortium members. The advisory committee consists of up to nine members from schools participating in the WAN, up to three being Technology Directors, and a minimum of three Superintendents.
