Angel and Debbie Figueroa

Angel and Debbie have been competing on the West Coast Swing circuit since 1999, and are sought after competitors, teachers, and judges nationwide. They have won many major titles in both Classic and Showcase divisions including the USA Grand Nationals, Dallas Dance, Boogie by the Bay, and many others. They are also top dancers in Invitational Strictly Swing and Jack and Jill competitions and have both won the Phoenix Champions of Champions jack and jill competition.

Angel and Debbie currently live in Austin, Texas and work teaching, judging, and performing at events across the nation.

Michael Stephens

Michael Stephens has been dancing since drums were made out of tree trunks. Okay, maybe not that long. But, he has been dancing since high school when he had performed on several dance teams. Michael put his love of dance on hold to pursue other endeavors and later started dancing again. Since then, he has been dancing for over 20 years and teaching for over 15. He now teaches West Coast Swing, Country & Western, Slow Dancing, Jitterbug, Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Waltz, and Cha-cha.

This 2 1/2 hour workshop will be for the beginner and the experienced alike who want to brush up on the basic techniques of footwork, connection and basic patterns.

bryan jordan

Bryan is a native of Louisiana and is currently teaching West Coast Swing (WCS) and Jitterbug (East Coast Swing) in the Baton Rouge area. He started dancing WCS in 1996 and became a professional dancer and teacher in 2000. Since then, Bryan has won several awards as a professional dancer and teacher at local and national WCS dance competitions. Bryan has conducted several workshops as a guest instructor in New Orleans, Houston, Gauthier, Jackson, Hattiesburg, Shreveport, and Hawaii. Besides teaching and competing in WCS, Bryan also serves as Vice-President for the Capital City Swing Dancer’s Association, based in Baton Rouge.
